Haga Haga hotel has been owned by the Chemaly family for over 40 years. Staff provide a hands-on personal approach to all guests. It is a family hotel with warm hospitality from Neil, Sandy Chemaly and all staff. Families have been coming back for generations.
Haga Haga hotel offers good food. There is an excellent library and a little museum with displays, photos and information on Xhosa culture, including local beadwork, fauna, flora, shells. Indoor and outdoor games are available. A spa is close by; ask reception for the telephone number.
Haga Haga is a small village 70km north of East London in a conservancy established in 1995. It offers fishing, surfing, snorkeling, shell collecting, walking trails, tennis, horse riding. Whales visit from July to early December. Dolphins are seen almost daily. It is a malaria-free area.
