How do I get my establishment listed on holidaystays.co.za?

To get your establishment listed on our platform, please follow these steps:

  1. 1Visit our listing submission page - Click on the "Add Your Property" link in the main navigation
  2. 2Enter your website URL - You must have your own domain featuring your establishment
  3. 3Provide a relevant email address - This should be associated with your establishment's domain

Important: We do not accept requests for social media pages or other booking platforms. You must have your own dedicated website.

Is there a cost to list my property?

Listing your property on holidaystays.co.za is completely free. We believe in supporting accommodation providers by offering a platform to showcase their establishments without upfront costs. Paid upgrades will become available as we grow Holiday Stays.

How long does it take for my listing to appear?

Once you submit your establishment details, our team will review your submission within 2-3 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once your listing is approved and live on the site.

Can I update my listing information?

Yes, we do consistently scan your website for changes and those changes should reflect on your listing on Holiday Stays. Alternatively, email us using the dedicated email address assigned to you and we will make the changes manually.

Important: You must email us from the establishment's email account as a verification precaution.

What types of accommodations do you accept?

We welcome a variety of accommodation types, including:

How do I make a booking through your website?

We are an information directory, not a booking platform. To make a reservation:

What are my responsibilities as a user?

As a user of our platform, you are responsible for:

  • Travel documentation - Ensure you have valid passports, visas, and identification
  • Travel insurance - Protect yourself against cancellations, illness, or other travel risks
  • Understanding terms - Read and understand each property's specific terms and conditions

What if I have a problem with my booking?

Since bookings are made directly with accommodation providers, any issues must be resolved with them directly. We recommend:

  • Contacting the property immediately if problems arise
  • Keeping records of all communications
  • Reviewing the property's cancellation and refund policies
  • Seeking resolution through appropriate consumer protection channels if needed
