From Johannesburg/Pretoria: - Take the best route to Bethal (this will depend on your starting point), then pass through Ermelo, Piet Retief and Pongola; - Continue south along the N2 past Mkuze and Hluhluwe; - Take the turn-off left to Mtubatuba and St Lucia (R618), then as you approach Mtubatuba turn left to St Lucia (25km) (if you come to any buildings you have gone too far); - Follow the below directions when you arrive in St Lucia. From Durban: - Take the N2 north and you have the option of the toll road or the alternate route that passes nearby Stanger; - 40 kilometres after the turn-off to Richards bay, turn right to Mtubatuba; - As you arrive in Mtubatuba, turn left (Pick n Pay is on your right); - Then at the second road turn right (R618) to St Lucia; - Follow the below directions when you arrive in St Lucia. In St Lucia: - When you arrive in the greater St. Lucia Wetland Park pass over the bridge and follow the road until you reach the traffic circle which is the entrance to St.Lucia Residential Area, McKenzie Street; - Turn left then immediately right into Beach Road; - Kingfisher Street is the second street on the right and you will find Whalesong Guest House on the right-hand side at 28 Kingfisher Street, St Lucia.
