The lodge offers fully self-catering family units including family cottages, duplex units, and a luxury rondawel. Units sleep 4 to 6 guests with open-plan designs featuring a lounge, kitchen, and dining area. Rooms include balconies and shower-only bathrooms.
An outdoor pool, spa, restaurant, BBQ/picnic area, conference facilities, children's play area, free parking, and room service are available. The restaurant, Umgazana Seafood & Grill, is open from 12pm to 9pm. Breakfast can be arranged for lodge guests with prior notice.
The lodge is on the Wild Coast, Eastern Cape, beside the Umgazana River and Estuary, 3km from the river mouth and ocean. Guided hikes with local tour guides include a half-day hike from Port St Johns to the lodge, crossing two rivers.
