The property has cabins and cottages in several configurations: double storey and single storey log cabins with three bedrooms, a four-bedroom cabin, a honeymoon cabin with a queen bed, and two-bedroom and four-bedroom cottages. Most units have fireplaces, open plan living areas, fully equipped kitchenettes and decks overlooking Stanford Lake.
All units are self-catering with braais on the decks. Towels and linen are provided. The 17-hectare Stanford Lake has trout and bass for fly fishing. The surrounding areas offer hiking, birding, horse riding, canoeing, biking and 4x4 trails. There is a strict no-pet policy.
Stanford Lake Lodge is in the Haenertsburg/Magoebaskloof area of Limpopo Province, in high country with mountains, forests and waterfalls. The 17-hectare Stanford Lake feeds the Ebenezer Dam via a waterfall. Views of the Wolkberg Mountains are visible from several units. The lodge is less than three hours from Pretoria.
