Thornybush Private Nature Reserve, Hoedspruit, Limpopo Directions

By Air: Airlink operates daily flights to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (approximately 30 minutes by road from the lodge). Airlink also flies to KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) near Nelspruit, from where guests can take a 25-minute charter flight to the reserve or a 2–3 hour road transfer. Airlink flies to Skukuza Airport, from where a 25-minute charter flight or 3-hour road transfer can be arranged. By Private Charter: Charter flights available directly to the reserve's private tarred airstrip (coordinates: 24°24'50"S – 31°09'30"E; Radial HSV 140° DME 7.6NM; Runway 05/23, land uphill 23, 1200m tar, elevation 1900ft; Radio frequency 131.75). By Road: Approximately 5 hours from Johannesburg (6 hours with a lunch stop in Dullstroom); 2–3 hours from Nelspruit/KMIA. The lodge is not accessible by private vehicle; guests are collected by rangers at the reserve entrance and transferred to camp via a short game drive.
