FROM JOHANNESBURG and PRETORIA Two choices: 1. Take N17 through Bethal and Ermelo then N2 to Mkhondo (Piet Retief) -see below from there or 2.Take the N1/N3 then Boksburg Benoni to join N4 at Witbank (Emalahlele). Past Middelburg but before Belfast, turn right to CAROLINA. From Carolina follow signs to AMSTERDAM - then go through to Mkhondo (Piet Retief). From Mkhondo (Piet Retief) - towards the end of the town, turn left and follow signs to MAHAMBA and cross the border into The Kingdom of eSwatini (Swaziland). At Nhlangano (the next town after the border) after 14kms from the border, turn right to Lavumisa. Please watch speed signs through the villages and on the open road and keep your eyes peeled for signs of HUMPS. Do take these slowly! OR continue from Mkhondo (Piet Retief) on N2 through Pongola, then 25kms after Pongola, turn left at GOLELA sign. You will eventually come to a large round-about at Lavumisa, follow signs to Manzini on MR8 and about 9kms from the roundabout, watch for the sign on the right into Royal Jozini Reserve. Please stop at the railway crossing and please take care because this is a very active railway line. Sign in at the gate. Alternatively, take the N17 and N2, From Johannesburg take the N17 from the South of Johannesburg through Brakpan, Springs and to Bethal. Follow signs to ERMELO (N17) and then take the N2 to Mkhondo (Piet Retief). Watch for the looooong trains and be sure to give the train drivers a wave! Travel straight through Mkhondo and stay on the N2 to PONGOLA, then about 15 minutes out of Pongola, watch for the signpost to GOLELA on the left - travel 10kms to the Golela/Lavumisa border post. Keep straight at the round-about, about 9 kms watch for the sign to Royal Jozini on the right. FROM DURBAN Take the N2 North to Richards Bay, heading towards Pongola. Go past the road turning to JOZINI, staying on the N2, travelling alongside the Game Reserve, then turn right at the GOLELA signpost. Travel 10kms to the Golela/Lavumisa border post. Cross the border post into Swaziland - keep straight at the round-about, and about 9 kms further, watch for the sign to Royal Jozini on the right. The Royal Jozini Reserve stretches from the border and beyond the entrance gate. FROM MANZINI Take the BIG BEND MR8 road (turn right just outside of Manzini) and follow the road, eventually passing Big Bend and heading towards Lavumisa. Watch for NISELA SAFARIS on your left hand side. Royal Jozini is about 30kms further on, with the entrance to the Reserve on the left hand side. Please take care to stop at the level crossing and watch out for trains on this busy track. How to Find the lodges: Once at Royal Jozini, Please check your lodge name and number from the list below and follow directions accordingly) KUJABULA LODGE: From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel 6.8 kms until you see the sign for Number 24. Housekeeper is Lorraine SELF CATERING LODGES Lisango Lezulu From the main gate, travel on the main road, go past the East Shore Road turn, until you get to the T-Junction. Turn left onto Mountain Road North. Lisango Lezulu is no. 526 and is 7.5 kms from the main gate. Housekeeper: Simiso Siqalo Lodge (84) From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel 3.6 kms until you see the sign for Number 84 on the right hand side. (It is marked in white on a rock). Housekeeper is Zanele Imvubu Lodge (78) From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel 3.8 kms until you see the sign for Number 78 on the right hand side. (It is marked in white on a rock). Housekeeper is Richard Ekuthuleni Lodge (141) From the main gate, travel 4.5 kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE ROAD. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel about 4.5 kms and start watching on the LEFT side of the road. You will see rocks with lodge numbers marked on them and once you see the sign that says 130-151, turn left. 141 is at the very end of the road. Housekeeper is Tengetile Bushwillow Lodge (222) From the main gate, travel 4.5 kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE ROAD. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel about 4.5 kms and then start watching for signs on the LEFT side of the road. When you see the sign “LINK ROAD”, keep straight and then take the very next turn to the left. It is marked BUSHWILLOW 222. Housekeeper is Khanyisile Lokuhle Lodge 21 From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel 7.0 kms until you see the sign for Number 21 on the right hand side. (It is marked in white on a rock). Housekeeper is Veronica Kadana Tented Camp From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Once you have gone through the nature reserve gate, travel 7.5+- kms until you see the sign for Kadana Camp on the right hand side. (It is marked in white on a rock). Estate Manager: Jay 0824420290 Inkwazi From the main gate, travel 4.5kms and then turn right onto EAST SHORE Road. Go through the game gate and then travel 5.7 kms. You will see Inkwazi No. 38 on the right hand side. The two suites are on the left when you park. Housekeeper is Sakhile 487 Mountain Rd South From the main gate, travel on the main road, go past the East Shore Road turn, until you get to the T-Junction. Turn RIGHT onto Mountain Road South. Within a few meters, there is a game gate. Go through this and travel about 3kms. This lodge is on the right hand side. Housekeeper is Mpumi
