Final Approach (All Travellers): Stay on the EN1 at the fork; take the right toward Inhambane. Follow the Inhambane road approximately 25km and look for Esperanza/Lighthouse Reef signage on the right, onto the red gravel road. Follow the red gravel road 25km to the Masavanna garage. Follow signboards from the garage to the shared Lighthouse Reef / Esperanza Reception. Prioritise roadside signage over GPS instructions on the final stretch. Route 1 (From Johannesburg): Via Mpumalanga → Lebombo Border Post (Komatipoort) → Maputo (Ring Road) → Bilene → Xai-Xai → Chidenguele. Route 2 (From Phalaborwa): Via Giriyondo Border Post → 75km dirt road through Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park → Massangir Dam → Chokwe → EN1 at Macia → Xai-Xai → Chidenguele. Expect potholes and speed bumps on older road sections. A 4x4 vehicle is required for the final 4km.
