DURBAN TO HLALANATHI Follow the N3 past Estcourt. 6km after the Estcourt Ultra City, turn left on the R74. Travel through Winterton and Bergville. 29km beyond Bergville, at the foot of the Oliviershoek Pass, Turn left towards the Northern Drakensberg. Hlalanathi is signposted from here. 270km DBN to Hlalanathi JOHANNESBURG TO HLALANATHI Note: The resurfacing of the R74 near Sterkfontein Dam is complete. Follow the N3 to Harrismith. Turn towards Bethlehem on the N5. Travel 4km, and turn left onto the R712 towards Qwa-Qwa. After 8km turn left again, onto the R74 towards Bergville.
