Coming from Cape Town/George N2 to Knysna from Cape Town On approaching Knysna, after the turn off to Brenton-on-Sea, you will cross a bridge over the lagoon (referred locally as the “White Bridge”). Travel approx. 6 kms, passing through 2 sets of traffic lights, i.e. intersections of N2 and Welbedacht Road and Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road) respectively. After the N2/Ou Kaapse Weg (Old Cape Road) main intersection, take second turning left into Albatross Street Turn IMMEDIATELY left after 1 (ONE) meter. Do NOT travel up Albatross Street. If you reach a T-Junction you have gone too far! Proceed along the service road parallel to the N2 (must see the lagoon) Hideway Guest House is signposted. Coming from Port Elizabeth N2 to Knysna from PE Drive through the town of Knysna. Look out for the Total petrol station on the right. From the next traffic light (junction of Main Road & Waterfront Drive) take 3rd road on the right (Albatross Street). Turn left after 1 (ONE) meter. Do NOT travel up Albatross Street.
