FROM DURBAN OR JOHANNESBURG: It will take about 3 hours from Durban (distance 235km). Take the N3 to Howick. Take the R617 to Underberg (offramp 99 to Howick South/Southern Drakensberg/Underberg). From the Turn off it is a 111Km's to Underberg. Thus Boston / Bulwer and then Underberg. Carry straight on through Underberg for approx. 4 km. Turn right onto the Drakensberg Gardens Resorts Road at the Mzimkulu River Bridge. Measure 1 km and find Elgin Guesthouse on your left
