Options range from glamping units and cottages to houses, a B&B, backpackers, and camping. The backpackers has 5 double rooms (1 en suite, 4 sharing), a communal kitchen, lounge with fireplace, and a sun games room. Wild Olive B&B has king-size beds, en-suite rooms, and a farm-style breakfast, opening May 2026.
Amenities and Facilities:
The campsite has hot water showers, free WiFi, electricity, and a camp kitchen with two fridges. The backpackers has a fully-equipped communal kitchen with gas and electric stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, and an outdoor braai area. Crash pads are available for rent. Borehole water from the taps is safe for drinking.
Location and Attractions:
Rocklands climbing areas are within walking distance of the campsite and chalets. Hiking options include the 6km Kloof Walking Trail, the 4km Waterfall Trail, and the 22km Heuningvlei Trail. Elandsberg Eco Tours is 45km away. The Biedouw Valley 4x4 route at Mertenhof Farm is 20km away. The Cederberg nature reserve is a short drive.
