About

Blueberry Hill Cottages is a boutique wine farm on Middagkrans Road, Franschhoek, offering self-catering accommodation in two newly renovated cottages with views across the Franschhoek Valley. The farm is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Franschhoek.

Accommodation

The two cottages, Olive and Lavender, each have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, modern furnishings, and woodburning stoves. Each has an en-suite main bedroom. Lavender has an extra-length king size bed in the main bedroom. Olive has a beautiful bath in the shared bathroom. Master suites have views across the Franschhoek Valley.

Facilities

Both cottages have modern kitchens, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine with pods, a Weber BBQ, and free high-speed WiFi. Guests can prepare meals using ingredients from the farm's organic vegetable garden. The property has an 11-metre rim flow pool, pool loungers on a wooden deck, and an outdoor entertainment area. Cottages are serviced daily.

Location & Surroundings

The farm is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Franschhoek. Award-winning restaurants in Franschhoek include Foliage, Ruebens, Le Coin Francais, and Le Lude, with everyday dining at French Connection, the Grill Room, Hussars Grill, and Allora. The owners also recommend the Franschhoek Motor Museum and a picnic at Boschendal.
