Five dam cottages sleep 14 to 16 guests, with 4 or 5 bedrooms, a loft with 6 single beds, and a verandah overlooking the dam. Cypress sleeps 6. Yellowwood and Lavender each have a queen bed. Vagabond is an off-grid cottage sleeping 5.
Cottages have fully equipped kitchens, open fireplaces with wood provided on the first night, electric blankets, linen and towels, built-in braais, and DSTV. Dam cottages each include a row boat. A cleaning service operates between 9am and 11am.
Bellwood is in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, in the foothills of the Drakensburgs. The off-grid Vagabond Cottage is 16km from Bellwood and 18km from Nottingham Road, on the banks of Lake Lynhurst.
