Brandberg Rest Camp

The Brandberg Rest Camp, familiarly known as the BRC, is located in the village of UIS, approximately 30 km from the foot of the Brandberg Mountain. Situated about 320 km from Windhoek and 180 km from Swakopmund, it's en-route to the Etosha Game reserve when travelling from the coastal area. The camp offers a variety of accommodation options including air-conditioned rooms, self-catering chalets, safari tents, and camping sites. It features a half Olympic size pool, perfect for cooling off in the Namibian desert heat. The surrounding area is known for its unspoilt beauty, cultural experiences, and wildlife including desert-dwelling elephants and endemic Hartmann Mountain zebras. The nearby Brandberg Mountain, Namibia's highest point at 2,573 meters, is famous for its rock paintings, including the renowned 'White Lady'. The camp serves as an ideal base for exploring Damaraland and experiencing the unique desert landscape and rich cultural heritage of the region.
